Join Othello in Celebrating #Flashback Friday 4th of July Each year The Greater Othello Chamber of Commerce throws a big community party for the 4th of July. We have plenty of food, a parade, both kids and adults activities, and entertainment. This year we're going to present an old fashioned celebration. So gather up your poodle skirts, roller skate keys, wear your hair in pony tails and duck tails or crew cuts and join us for a full day of fun. Since this page is in transition, check back often. Schedule of Events 6:15-7:00 a.m.: Freedom Fun Run check in Parade - Join us a 10:00 am for our family style parade. We will head the parade with an American Legion color guard. The kids will follow with their bikes and trikes highly decorated in patriotic colors. Enjoy the music, horses and floats. The end of the parade is marked by our brace city and county firemen in their shiny engines, along with our local police in their cruisers. Obtain entry form for Kids Parade from Columbia Bank. Jerry Harris - Jerry Harris is one of the most talented and sought after HYPNOTISTS in the country today. Having a Dynamic personality combined with a mesmerizing voice he will quickly and easily induce an altered state of consciousness. Selecting individuals from the audience, he brings them up on the stage and hypnotizes them. During the course of the evening he will have the audience laughing at the antics of the volunteers on the stage. Jerry will perform twice over the course of the day. More information.
